"...worse trying to replace him with Sam Alexander, a truly childish comic." Sorry, Tom, but I felt the need to address the anon who said this: Are they kidding me? Comics are for a big age range. Some are more gritty and mature, but some are aimed at a younger audience, and there is NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. In fact, nowadays there aren't a lot of comics specifically for younger audiences. So older fans, don't you dare try to take those books away from those kids. Don't you dare.

I love this ask, and I love the asker. The focus on gaining/keeping more adult readers, because they have more disposable income, has made it so difficult to find good all-ages books I enjoy, and can share with my nieces. Especially good all-ages books that don’t talk down to the reader.
